Looooong Afternoon
I just spent the whole afternoon baking my first ever batch of macarons. OH.MY.GOODNESS. For so few ingredients they don’t alf take a long time, and they’re so fiddely, everything has to be so precise and just right! Well they are in the fridge now ‘setting’. So far they look better than I expected they would on my first try.

I am so excited about going to church this evening. I really do love church. I’ve only been to this church twice before, the first time was a couple of christmases ago and then my second time was last week. It’s great though, really looking forward to settling here and getting involved. Also to add to my excitement, Darlene Zschech is leading worship tonight.

Good neighbours and God's provision
So, my laptop is on the verge of dying because the screen is near snapping off. However a very kind neighbour has answered my prayers and given me an old monitor of theirs, saving me a lot of money (if my laptop screen broke I’d have to buy an entirely new computer) ad it saves my laptop too because I don’t have to open and close it anymore, it just sits on a shelf, open, all the time...

tomyfuturespouse: I tend to be a blanket hog. So when I do steal all the blankets, you’re not getting them back. I guess you’ll just have to come and snuggle real closely to me.

That tatt!
I really want to get my ” believe and be satisfied” tattoo. So tempted to just go get it next week when I have a good 10 days before I’ll be working again. Maybe I’ll investigate.

Boooooooks!
Last week I went into town to take my laptop into the Apple store and talk to someone at the Genius bar, I had to wait 3 hours for an appointment, so I decided to find out if there was a Christian bookshop nearby…there was. I trundled along and spent over an hour in there looking at books and things, I came away with three books and my pocket was £30 lighter…well worth it though. The...

"To My Future Spouse"
cafespirit: As men and women of Christ, what is our focus on when we keep on posting stuff like this?  Are we falling in love with our Savior, or just what He MIGHT bless us with?  What if God has called you to be single?  What if we never get our so called “future spouse”?  Will we still love your Savior?  Yes, God gives us desires for a reason, but we are simply feeding this craving for a...

Suggestions
I would love it if you guys could give me some suggestions for good, non-worship, (along the lines of Josh Garrels, Switchfoot, Relient K etc.) Christian music/artists?

infiniteworth: I found hope: give this a read: Apparently the White House referred to Christmas Trees as “Holiday Trees” for the first time this year which prompted CBS presenter, Ben Stein, to present this piece which I would like to share with you. I think it applies just as much to many countries as it does to America … The…
